RedTube is an OG. One of the first major tubes for an entire generation of porn watchers. If you grew up jerking off to free internet porn in the late 2000s, you probably hit RedTube at some point. Classic status earned. Launched in 2007. Same year as the first iPhone. RedTube is as old as modern smartphones. That is ancient in internet years. Wired listed it as one of the top 5 fastest growing websites that year. Instant success. By 2009, RedTube cracked the top 100 sites globally on Alexa rankings. Top 100 of all websites. Not just porn sites. All websites. That is insane traffic. Fell out of the top 100 in 2010 but climbed back up in 2012. Staying power. MindGeek bought RedTube in 2009 along with Pornhub and YouPorn. Now all three operate under the same corporate umbrella. RedTube became part of the biggest porn empire on the planet. Servers on both coasts of North America. Infrastructure built for massive scale. Millions of videos in the library. Millions. You could watch porn every day for the rest of your life and never run out of content. Daily uploads keep the collection growing. Fresh scenes added constantly. Never stale. Design is clean as hell. Modern layout that other tubes should study. Simple color palette. No clutter. Everything in the right place. Logo acts as home button. No redundant navigation. Sleek and professional. One minor complaint: Category dropdown tab is sluggish. Takes a full second to respond when you click. Not a dealbreaker but noticeable. Everything else on the site is fast. That one tab lags behind. Annoying but tolerable. Video previews are next level. Hover over thumbnails and you get actual video clips playing. Not static screenshots. Real footage from the scenes. YouTube-style previews. Most tubes still use screenshot slideshows. RedTube went premium with the feature. Shows off their budget. Ads are present but not abusive. Standard free tube ad placement. Banners here and there. Could be worse. RedTube knows ads suck though. So they made a move. If you use AdBlock, RedTube offers a 7-day free trial of their premium membership. Genius marketing. Instead of begging you to disable your blocker, they give you a week of premium for free. Try before you buy. Builds goodwill. Smart play. Premium membership is $9.99 per month after the trial. Removes all ads. Unlocks exclusive content. Higher quality videos. Cancel anytime. Compared to other sites charging $30 per month for single studio access, this is a bargain. Ten bucks for unlimited premium tube content is reasonable. Not mandatory though. Free version works perfectly fine. Millions of videos available without paying a cent. Premium is optional luxury. Not a paywall blocking basic features. Exactly how it should be. Sorting options are excellent. Filter by rating, view count, favorites, video length, newest uploads. Multiple ways to organize content. Find exactly what you want fast. Dropdown menu right at the top labeled Porn Videos next to the logo. Quick access to all sorting. Pornstars section is well organized. Browse by male, female, or transgender performers. Sort by video count, subscriber count, or alphabetically. Female is default filter which makes sense for the majority audience. But options exist for everyone. Search bar has a dropdown letting you choose between videos, photos, or cam models. Versatile search. Makes finding live cam girls way easier. Most tubes bury cam search. RedTube puts it front and center in the search function. User-friendly design choice. Collections feature lets you save favorite videos in custom playlists. Make them public or private. Or browse other users collections and steal their curated lists. Community playlists save time. Let other perverts do the work for you. Live cams are integrated under the Cam Sex tab. One problem: AdBlock detects the streams as ads and blocks them. You have to disable your blocker to access cams. Ironic considering RedTube rewards AdBlock users with free trials. Conflict in functionality. Categories cover all the basics. Anal, VR, hentai, every standard genre. Videos are actually tagged correctly. No random bullshit tagged as anal when it is clearly not. Quality control on categorization is solid. Rare for tube sites. RedTube has been consistent for over 15 years. Same reliable experience. Millions of free videos. Modern design. Fair premium pricing. Optional membership instead of mandatory paywall. This is how free tubes should operate. Part of the MindGeek network means resources and stability. Not going anywhere. Too big to fail at this point. Add RedTube to your regular rotation and it will still be there in another 15 years.
